At first it did a fine job cooling down my laptop, but after a couple months of use the power cord won't stay connected. My laptop stays at home, so this is not due to mis-handling. The fan will turn on if I fiddle with it, but won't stay on for more than a few seconds. Oh - and the smell right out of the box was atrocious! I had to put the thing outside to air out for a few days before I could use it without getting a headache. I should have sent it back right then.
