I've had this since last September and I was away at school for a year and for most of the year, it seemed to work fine. Then, nearing the end, I noticed that it wasn't powering on so I had to play with the cord on the side that plugs into the fan until it powered up, but it would power off as soon as I take my finger off it. I eventually tried using a Mountain Dew cap to hold it in place, but that worked about 1/2 the time.
