This is a great product! Fan has two speeds. In high mode you can barely hear it. In low mode you have to put your ear to it to hear it. The pass-thru USB plug is an example of a company with it's thinking cap on! After I set this up, I started noticing that my computer seemed to speed up, with little or no hangups. I had forgotten about adding this Antec Notebook cooler. Then I saw a deal for 4gb, a 2 gig upgrade for my comp., which is only supposed to do 2 gigs. The price was so good I had to go for it. But, in the back of mind I was saying "HOW CAN THE COMPUTER GET ANY FASTER THAN THIS...NEW SCREEN THE INSTANT YOU TOUCH THE BUTTON"! My notebook is actually a desk top replacement. Too big to really lug around, but portable enough if someone yells IRS or FIRE!
