I bought this because it did not look like cheap plastic. I was worry of beig too big/ too small. But it works well. It is like a base to put your laptop. I write this because it serves as a firm base so you don't want your laptop flat on any surface (water, heating, etc), and also because it works with TWO fans (one takes out and another in to bring cool), and the metal (absorbs heat) is science. I bought at BJ wholesales but I see here cost less. I paid 29.99 sealed and new. If you can get cheaper go for it. Get more detail about Antec USB-Powered Notebook Cooler.
