Well I just bought it and have been using it for 3 days and so far its awesome. I have a Toshiba Satellite and it can get pretty hot and since I have been using the cooling pad it even keeps the keyboard cool to the touch. It even keeps my feet cold if I lay it on my lap and that is on the low setting, I have yet to have to turn it on to High. It is not loud at all, you can't even notice its on if not for the LED light its so quiet. I even bought anothber one for my husbands laptop too and will be sending it to him in Iraq, i wish they would ship to APO addresses but oh well im used to it by now.
