I purchased two of these for my college age sons' computers. They were on sale at a really good price which I couldn't pass up. I was surprised at how the boys took to them. I never see their laptops without the cooler. They have only had them a month, so I can't comment yet on durability or effectiveness at extending the life of the computers.
