The fan system is really quiet, even on high. Sometimes we can't tell it's on. I think that laptop stay fairly cool while on the unit. The only complaint I have is the installation of the rubber feet which prop up the laptop. They were a little difficult to install. The other complaint is the blue light which tells you that the unit is on...it's pretty bright.
Pros: storage compartment for USB cable, USB cable has an extender, really quiet, does it's job in keeping the laptop cool
