Having never used a laptop cooler before buying this one I have nothing to compare it to but the Antec seems to do what it is supposed to do, cool your laptop. It is well made and lightweight. The cord storage is a nice feature. The blue LED is insanely bright, it almost could double as a flashlight but I don't really see it as a real problem since you really don't sit there and stare at the side of the laptop cooler.
