It's a shame that some reviews are even printed. This cooler does work extremely well and makes my 17 inch Dell 1720 run MUCH cooler in spite of it having a cooling fan of it's own AND sucking air from the bottom. The 2 reviewers are so off the mark about a vacuum being formed and making your laptop run hotter. I wonder how they even are able to operate a laptop if they really believe what they write. Also, someone also noted that you would need an extended length USB cord if you didn't have a port on the left side of your laptop. WRONG! All you have to do is rotate the cooler 180 degrees. Makes no difference. If I had listened to any of these reviewers, I would not have purchased this fantastic product. All I have to do is feel the laptop temp when I shut down to see how much cooler it is.
