This is a beautiful, well thought-out and executed stand. The device is solid: there is not a hint of sag in the center from the weight of my large LCD screen. All of the edges and corners of the LapTuk are smooth. There is a nearly-transparent plastic "foot" everywhere the LapTuk contacts the desktop.
I agree with Mr. Gutierrez's comment regarding having to bring the laptop out from the stand to turn the MacBook off/on. This is not a Macessity design fault; we (MacBook users) need a way to turn our laptops off/on via our remote keyboard.
Corporate response to a couple of emailed questions was timely and informative. Shipping could not have been faster. The Macessity ([...]) Laptuk is elegantly beautiful.
