In the description it states: "Accommodate up to 17-inch NB." DON'T believe it. I have a 17" Alienware M17x, a very heavy-duty notebook and this cooler/stand couldn't handle it. The little tabs in the front were too flimsy to hold the 14lb notebook without an alarming "cracking" sound. Once I lifted the cover, the notebook wobbled a bit--I didn't even dare to try typing on it. I immediately removed my baby, er, notebook from the stand and contacted Amazon for a return label.
