There are quite a few flaws with this product. When I received this, my first impression was that it is very cheaply made. Upon setting up this stand, regardless of the angle, it flexes with very little weight on it, in a way that makes you think its going to snap at any moment. The depth of the surface your laptop sits on is far too shallow, so that even my 15" laptop teeters there on the verge of falling off from the weight of the LCD on the back end. I ended up placing a small bungee cord across the bottom edge for fear of my laptop falling off of the back and breaking. Turns out my initial impression of this product was correct. After only a week of having it, when setting my laptop down on it a few minutes ago, the cheap plastic hinge snapped and now from the laptop's own weight (a fairly light 15 inch at that) and now I have a useless piece of plastic that can't be fixed. Don't make the same mistake that I did. Spend a few extra dollars and get something of higher quality. Goes to prove that you get what you pay for. I plan on purchasing the Aidata aluminum stand to replace this and I hope they at least got that one right...
