After reading some reviews here I decided to go w/ Amazon brand DVD-R discs. They are cheaper than the other popular brands and this is expected I guess with any store brand. Anyway, I burnt some movies on these and played them on my PS3. So far I did not see any issues. And I do not anticipate any glitches in future either. One thing I cannot verify is the write speed. Some geeks might know ways to check it but I am not sure if it really matters because the drive I have only supports up to 8x and I assume it gets written up to that speed.
