This is my third time have this power cord for my laptop. The first came with the laptop and after six months, the power cord became unusable. I do not know what happened. The laptop was still under warranty so I received a new one free of charge. This charge also lasted about seven months. I thought about ordering from the HP website but the price was over sixty dollars. I searched around and saw the same power cord for under thirty dollars. I purchased it and I have to say that I am really glad that I did. If I have to keep buying power cords I am glad that there are places the sell them very reasonable.
