This is a great case! I really love the color and the way the Apple shines through when it's on. It's quite the surprise to most people. Here are some thoughts:
1. Yes, it gets dirty. There are lots of fingerprints and dust and who knows what else that get stuck on it. It's not pretty, but a little cleaning with a wet washcloth, maybe some soap, and you're good to go. The way I see it, yes it is gross, but at least it's on the case and not the Macbook.
2. There is a small amount of added bulk to the Macbook, but it still is thinner and lighter than some other computers that I have compared it to, and I really don't even notice it. It does add enough bulk that when you push the screen back past 90 degrees to where it slants backwards, it does get heavy enough to pull the screen down. I don't ever push the screen back that far, so I don't really care.
3. Some people had issues with it not fitting correctly and with the battery check button not being lined up properly. Personally, mine fits perfectly and the battery button is lined up. Maybe they made a newer model?
4. Price ... buy it here. End of story. It's way cheaper. Get more detail about Speck Products See Thru Satin, Soft Touch Hard Shell Case, for 13-inch MacBook Aluminum Unibody/Black Keyboard (Pink).
