Great idea. I REALLY need a longer cord for my iPhone especially for charging at night while traveling.
Cord arrived quickly but unfortunately will not function in my iPhone 3GS. It either does nothing or I will briefly get an error mesage stating "this device not supported for charging" (or words to that effect) and then nothing.
I have no way of telling if the cord is defective or if it just won't work with the iPhone 3GS. So now I have returned it...(exchanging it was not an option allowed by Amazon).
Since there are two other reviews on here that say similar things either it doesn't work with the iPhone 3GS or they have serious quality control issues in the manufacture of this cord. I have no way of knowing which it is.
Sure wish I could find one from another manufacturer...
