I really like this case, but it needs refinement. The leather and hardware are super nice. Fit is good, except for the open top. It is true that you will need to put some velcro on the top back of the iPad to keep it securely in this case. I have done that and it is OK. I never take it out of the case. They should put a flap over the top of the iPad that tucks securely behind the device. The top frame around the screen covers the ambient light sensor so that won't automatically adjust screen brightness anymore.
