Speck Products See Thru Satin, Soft Touch Hard Shell Case, for 13-inch MacBook Aluminum Unibody/Black Keyboard (Black) - DOES NOT FIT WHITE MACBOOK Best Quality

Just received my Black Satin Speck case for MacBook Pro 13" (newest vers. as of 07/10). Easy install and covers a large majority of the computer. Looks and feels nice.

Now for the cons: (1) The bottom portion of the case has a very snug fit, but I cannot say the same for the top portion. The top half "slides" on the face of the computer and the snaps aren't as "heavy duty" as the bottom portion. This creates a loose fit (it doesn't take much to dislodge it) and a potential to scratch the surface of the computer. (2) It appears Speck did a great job in leaving room for accessing the MacBook Pro's ports; however, if you have the magnetic power AC, the top left clip on the bottom portion of the case slightly interferes with the connection. It still creates the connection required to plug the computer in, BUT the obstruction has created a pitfall: a slight bump knocks the magnetic cord out.

I know the cons don't seem like that big of a deal, but for a company that specializes in creating "top of the line" cases, I would expect them to be perfect for $50.00. In my opinion, it's a great case if you can find it for under $20. The price is too extravagant for such obvious defects by Speck in the product design.Get more detail about Speck Products See Thru Satin, Soft Touch Hard Shell Case, for 13-inch MacBook Aluminum Unibody/Black Keyboard (Black) - DOES NOT FIT WHITE MACBOOK.
