These aren't the best phones I've ever used, but compared to other wireless sets in the same price range, you could do a lot worse.
Setup is dead simple. Charge it up for a few hours before first use, plug in the USB dongle, wait a second for Windows to auto-detect it, and you're ready to go. No muss, no fuss. So far so good.
The next thing you notice is that these phones are NOT comfortable. They're the over-the-ear type, but the ear padding is insufficient and they grip your head way too tightly unless you spend a lot of time stretching them out. Also, the padding is too small for the average adult ear to fit comfortably, meaning that unless you've got teeny tiny ears, your earlobes will be constantly pinched against your head during use. The result is that your ears will get sore after about an hour of use, and the problem is compounded if you wear glasses. With some adjustment and periodic breaks they're usable for longer sessions, but hardly ideal.
Sound quality is fine. They won't blow you away with super-deep lows or ultra-crisp highs, but most non-audiophiles should be perfectly happy. I haven't had any problems with battery life; I leave them plugged in whenever they're not in use and I've never had them die on me, even after five or six hours.
The wireless connectivity is handled by a simple USB dongle. There's no adjustable antenna or any other real way to optimize reception, so your experience is going to depend a lot on how much interference there is where you are. If you're just looking for a way to watch Hulu or use Skype from across the room without running a long cord, you'll probably be fine. If you walk into the next room, you'll probably experience occasional cutouts, especially if there are multiple walls between you and the dongle. Walking down to the mailbox is right out.
This may seem like a pretty so-so review, and it is, but it's worth noting that you'd have to pay a significant premium in price to get a better wireless set.
