The battery was a replacement for the original 3 cell battery that came with the notebook. The battery works quite well. Exact fit on the notebbok. It does add several ounces to the notbook which now sits at a raised angle due to the thickness of the battery. This does not disturb me that much but might some users.Since my notebook cover was a skin tight cover, it no longer works well.
