I just got this case. It is like a hard case with the Apple case's cover and stand system. The case itself is very thin, maybe too thin. It will protect you case from scratches but do not drop it. Since the back only attaches at the corners the sides are not protected. This is not an issue for me since I will not drop and plan on sticking it in my computer bag when I travel. I also like that the case does not alter the shape of the case and gives me multiple options to prop up my Ipad.
